Lewis Lake Afternoon Paddle

An afternoon on Lewis Lake is a great way to decompress. This two-hour paddle follows remote backcountry shoreline and has a few backcountry thermal features to see along the way. Optional stops for a beach break on an obsidian sandbar. Lewis Lake is a little warmer than Yellowstone Lake making it a nice place for a swim.

Private Kayak Tour

Choose from any of our kayak tour options and make it a private tour. Our private tours are more flexible on launch times and duration. We are happy to create the perfect paddle for your group!

Kayak Excursions

Early Morning Picnic Paddle

Our early morning picnic paddle is the best way to get on the water before the crowds, see the West Thumb Geyser Basin, then relax in the obsidian sand while munching on a delicious charcuterie board.

Evening Kayak Tour

Our three-hour evening tour departs from the Grant Village Marina. We paddle along the shoreline to the West Thumb Geyser Basin. If time permits, we take a break on a beach to stretch our legs before heading back.  We are off the water just in time to watch the rest of the sun set from the beach in Grant Village.

8:30am Morning Paddle

Join us for a three hour morning paddle on Yellowstone Lake. We launch from the Grant Village Marina shortly after 8:30 am and paddle to the West Thumb Geyser Basin where we see the thermal features from a unique point of view. On our way back, we stop for a quick break on a beach to stretch our legs and relax before finishing the tour, typically between 11:30 am and noon.
